General description
Hanks’ Balanced Salt Solution (HBSS) ist ein Puffer, mit dem biologische Medien nachgeahmt und die Zellen stabilisiert werden. Sie ist nützlich für Markierungsstudien mit Leukozyten. HBSS ist ein wirksames Konservierungsmittel für Parodontalligament-Zellen. HBSS fehlen essenzielle anorganische Ionen, weswegen sie für Mangelernährungsstudien geeignet ist.
Application
Calcium und Magnesium sind in dieser Formulierung enthalten und unterstützen die Zelladhäsion. Wird zur Minimierung der Zellanhaftung oder -aggregation verwendet.

Es wurde gezeigt, dass Phenolrot das Wachstum mancher Zellen in Klonierungsdichte hemmt. Verwenden Sie dieses Medium bei der Arbeit mit Stammzellen oder beim Züchten von Zellen mit niedriger Dichte.
