Biochem/physiol Actions
MG132 (Carbobenzoxy-Leu-Leu-Leucinal) ist ein Tripeptid-Aldehyd. Es weist Antitumor-Aktivität auf und verstärkt die zytostatische/zytotoxische Wirkung von Chemo- und Radiotherapien. (R)-MG132 ist ein starker membranpermeabler Proteasom-Inhibitor. Es kann die Proteasom-Aktivität in Lysaten von J558L multiplen Myelom-Zellen und EMT6 Brustkrebszellen hemmen. Der (R)-MG132-Stereoisomer hemmt die Aktivitäten des Chymotrypsin-ähnlichen (ChTL), des Trypsin-ähnlichen (TL) und des Peptidyl-glutamyl-peptid-spaltenden (PGPH) Proteasoms wirkungsvoller als (S)-MG132.
