This product is prepared in DMSO at a concentration of 3.125 mg/mL, which equates to approximately 5 mM. The volume of the 1 mg package is 0.320 mL. Prior to use, dilute the product 500-fold in 0.1 M phosphate buffer, pH 7.4. Other aqueous buffers such as HBSS would also be suitable.
Note that the presence of BSA and phenol red may interfere with the fluorescence.
