Application

Sodium chloride solution has been used:
  • for intraperitoneal administration in mice to investigate the effect of toll-like receptors (TLR-3) activation on neonatal hypoxic-ischemic (HI)[1]
  • to dissolve bleomycin sulfate for bleomycin treatments in mice[2]
  • to dilute tribromoethanol for intraperitoneal injection in mice[3]

General description

Sodium chloride is widely used in biochemistry and molecular biology research. It is a component of phosphate buffered saline (Product No. P3813) and βC buffer (Product Nos. S0902 and S8015). Sodium chloride is a component of all media formulations. This product has been qualified for use in preparation of in vitro solutions.
