Typically, anything that is observable under a microscope at a 10x objective can be viewed and imaged on the Millicell DCI. It is important to consider the following dimensions:
• The image viewing area measures 2.4 x 1.4mm.
A standard 96 well is typically 6-7mm in diameter. As a result, each well can be imaged, but the entire well won't be in view.
•The light source arm is positioned 2.2 inches above the platform.
The maximum vessel height is 2.19 inches (55.6mm).
• The focal plane ranges from 0 to 8.75mm above the bottom of the vessel.
