General description
Economical sterile disposable filter funnels product, with a 47 mm nitrocellulose membrane. The funnel body is made up of polypropylene with a polystyrene collar. Can be used in standard vacuum manifolds or filter flasks. Used to perform microbiological QC testing and analysis of water, food/beverage, raw material and finished product. The squeeze and twist funnel is easy to remove for retrieval of the CN membrane.
Application
Nalgene® analytical filter funnels are suitable for conducting microbiological quality control testing, analysis on water, food/beverage samples, raw materials, and finished products.

- High impact polystyrene collars provide ruggedness for reliable performance.
- Preassembled, sterile, and individually bagged to maintain sample integrity.
- Adapters designed to accommodate No. 8 stoppers for compatibility with 0.5 in. hole in vacuum manifolds or filter flasks.
- 47 mm diameter cellulose nitrate membrane certified for water quality work.
- 250 mL sizes are useful for testing foaming beverages.
