General description

Application

Szklane kulki o średnicy 2 mm mogą być stosowane jako matryca nośna do opracowywania biologicznie obojętnych i wielokrotnego użytku płynnych pożywek hodowlanych. Jest również stosowany jako stałe podłoże do unieruchamiania fotokatalizatorów TiO2 domieszkowanych metalami metodą mocowania termicznego, aby zapobiec aglomeracji i łatwemu oddzielaniu domieszkowanych nanocząstek.

  2. Hi, I have some questions about glass beads -2 mm (cat #: 1040140500) I would like to ask, can the plating beads be reused and autoclavable? Are these beads delivered sterile (gamma irradiated) and can they be used directly?

    1. These beads are not sterile. This product is autoclavable and is able to be used multiple times. Prior to re-use, the material should be thoroughly cleaned and inspected for cracks and/or broken pieces. The beads are composed of soda lime glass and are stable up to 1000°C.

    1. These beads are composed of soda lime glass and are stable up to 1000°C. The density of this product is not determined, however based on the size and composition, the estimated range is 2.48 - 2.50 g/cm3.
