General description

Beta-glukozydaza (β-Glu) katalizuje hydrolizę wiązań glikozydowych do końcowych reszt nieredukujących w beta-D-glukozydach i oligosacharydach, z uwolnieniem glukozy.

BioTracker 510 Green β-Glu Dye przenika przez błonę komórkową i jest fluorescencyjnym substratem [9- (4′-metoksy-2′-metylofenylo) -6- (β-D-glukopylanozyloksy)-ksanten-3-on] do wykrywania β-glukozydazy w żywych komórkach. Niefluorescencyjny barwnik jest hydrolizowany przez β-glukozydazę i generuje jasnozieloną fluorescencję (510 nm), gdy jest napromieniowany światłem wzbudzającym 490 nm.
