General description

All of the columns listed below are constructed of borosilicate glass and are rated at a maximum pressure of 15psi (1 bar). Five configurations are available:
A - Luer-Lock, Non Jacketed: Fixed polypropylene end caps, polyethylene bed supports, Luer-Lock inlet and outlet fittings.
B - Luer-Lock, Jacketed: Same as A (above), with a borosilicate glass jacket surrounding the column body for temperature control.
C - Open-ended: Fixed polypropylene ends (outside of tube only), without jacket or end fittings. Requires 2 flow adapters.
D - PTFE, non-jacketed: Threaded ends, removable PTFE fittings with shielded O-ring seals, 20 μm polyethylene bed supports, and 1/4-28 threaded tubing connections. Solvents contact only PTFE and borosilicate glass.
E - PTFE, jacketed: Same as D (above), with an acrylic jacket surrounding the column body for temperature control.

  1. Does this product come with a stop-cock attachment or does that need to be ordered separately? Can you supply product code if needed.

    1. This column does not come fitted with a stopcock attachment, but any stopcock with a Luer Lock fitting can be used. From the same product line, product S7396 is a compatible two-way stopcock, and product S7521 is a compatible three-way stopcock.

  2. Can the top of this column be unscrewed for packing purposes? Also, do you have a detailed image of this column?

    1. The column has fixed polypropylene end caps, polyethylene bed supports, and Luer-Lock inlet and outlet fittings. The column outlet and reservoir top are permanently attached, while the reservoir cap is threaded. For the 0.7 cm i.d., there is no flow adapter, and a funnel can be used to pack the column after removing the threaded reservoir cap.

    1. This column has not been tested with these solvents. It will be damaged by dichloromethane and ethyl acetate. Hexane may cause swelling and leakage.
