This product is supplied in powder form. A prepared solution is not available. Kynurenine, in solution, is not stable for long periods and loses activity relatively quickly.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. The stability of the solution at -20 °C is not determined. Upon resuspension of L-Kynurenine, it is recommended to store solutions at 15-25 °C. The resuspended product is stable for 6 months when properly stored. It is also recommended to protect this product from light.
