The epitope recognized by PLA0111 maps to a region between residues 1025 and 1075 of human Upstream Regulatory Element Binding Protein 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_113584.2 (GeneID 10075).

Other Notes

The conjugation of ubiquitin to proteins is an important means to regulate protein activity for many cellular processes by tagging them for degradation. Lasu1/Ureb1 is an E3 ubiquitin protein ligase that mediates the ubiquitination of core histones, Mcl-1, Cdc6, and p53. Lasu1/Ureb1 expression is regulated during spermatogenesis and appears to play a role in chromatin modification in germ cells as well as other tissues.
