Beschreibung

General description

Eine zellpermeable, entzündungshemmende Phenolverbindung, die als potenter und selektiver Inhibitor von NADPH-Oxidase dient. Blockiert die Peroxinitridbildung in murinen Makrophagen. Steigert die Glutathion-Synthese durch die Aktivierung von AP-1. Verhindert außerdem die Phagozytose von Myelin durch Makrophagen (10 mmol/l).
