Ein ungeladenes 1,4-di-substituiertes, phenyl-verknüpftes, bis-Trifluormethylsulfonamid(TFMS)-Phosphatmimetikum, das als potenter, reversibler, um das Substrat konkurrierender und auf aktive Zonen gerichteter Inhibitor von Proteintyrosin-Phosphatasen (PTP) wirkt. Hemmt nachweislich SHP-2 (IC₅₀ = 1,8 µ;M), PTP1B (IC₅₀ = 2,5 µ;M), PTP-ε; (IC₅₀ = 8,4 µ;M), PTP-Meg-2 (IC₅₀ = 13 µ;M), PTP-ς; (IC₅₀ = 20 µ;M), PTP-β; (IC₅₀ = 6,4 µ;M) und PTP-µ; (IC₅₀ = 6,7 µ;M).
