Beschreibung

General description

Ein zellpermeabler, reversibler Dipeptidaldehyd, der die Produktion von Aβ durch Blockierung der γ-Sekretaseaktivität in vitro (Aβ₄₀ IC₅₀ = 7,9 µM; Aβ₄₂ IC₅₀ = 7,6 µM) und in kultivierten CHO 2b-7 Zellen, die APP695 stabil überexprimieren (Aβ₄₀ IC₅₀ = 11,5 µM; Aβ₄₂ IC₅₀ = 8,3 µM). Blockiert auch die Bildung von CTFγ (γ-secretase-generated carboxyl-terminal fragment). Beeinflusst nicht die Bildung des Amyloid-β-Vorläuferproteins (APP).
