Beschreibung

General description

Eine zellpermeable Thiophencarboxamid-Verbindung, die nachweislich den Glukosestoffwechsel erhöht und die intrazelluläre Insulin-Signalübertragung aktiviert. Wirkt als potenter, kompetitiver und reversibler Inhibitor der SHIP2-Aktivität (K_i = 0,44 µM für hSHIP2) mit mäßiger bis ausgezeichneter Selektivität gegenüber SHIP1 und anderen verwandten Phosphatasen (IC₅₀ = 0,18, 0,57, 21, >50, >50 und >50 µM für mSHIP2, hSHIP2, hSHIP1, hPTEN, h-Synaptojanin bzw. h-Myotubularin). Erhöht den Insulin-induzierten pAkt-Ser⁴⁷³-Spiegel und verstärkt die Expression des Glukosetransporters GLUT1 mRNA in L6–Myotuben. SHIP1-Inhibitor, 3AC ist ebenfalls erhältlich (Kat.-Nr. 565835).
