General description

EX-CELL^® Advanced CHO Fed-Batch-Medium ist chemisch definiert und enthält keine Bestandteile tierischen Ursprungs. Diese neueste Plattform von SAFC wurde speziell zur Unterstützung des Wachstums und der Produktivität in einer Vielzahl von Zellen aus dem Ovar des Chinesischen Hamsters (CHO) in Fed-Batch-Kulturen entwickelt, bei gleichzeitiger Flexibilität in der Anpassung der Proteinqualitätsattribute. Diese moderne Fed-Batch-Plattform wurde mit einer Strategie der multivariaten Analyse entwickelt, um Korrelationen zu etablieren, bei denen die Rezepturkomponenten kritische Prozess- und Produktattribute wie Titer, Expansionsfaktor, Rezeptorexpression und Glykosylierung beeinflussen. Diese Plattform enthält weder Hypoxanthin, Thymidin, L-Glutamin, Phenolrot noch 2-Mercaptoethanol (2-ME). Dieses Medium ist als Teil einer Fed-Batch-Plattform vorgesehen und wird mit EX-CELL^® Advanced CHO Feed 1 (24367C – mit Glukose oder 24368C – ohne Glukose) verwendet.

Application

EX-CELL^® Advanced CHO Fed-batch Medium from SAFC has been specifically developed to support growth and productivity across a diverse set of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells in fed-batch cultures while still allowing for flexibility in the adjustment of protein quality attributes.

This contemporary fed-batch platform was developed using a strategy of Multivariate Analysis to establish correlations in which the formulation components influence critical process and product attributes such as titer, fold expansion, receptor expression, and glycosylation.
