General description

Benzethoniumchlorid ist ein ausführlich charakterisiertes Hautreizmittel und ein seltener Sensibilisator.

Application

Benzethoniumchlorid wurde in einer Studie zur Bewertung der minimalen Hemmkonzentrationen von methicillin-resistenten Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)-Isolaten aus Malaysia eingesetzt. Es wurde außerdem in einer Studie zur Untersuchung der Herstellung von Biokompositfolien aus Natriumalginat und modifiziertem Ton verwendet.
