Beschreibung

General description

Phalloidin–Atto 647N ist eine neuartige Fluoreszenzmarkierung, die auf den roten Bereich des Lichtspektrums abzielt. Atto 647N ist ein kationischer Farbstoff, der nach der Kopplung eine Nettoladung von +1 aufweist. Wie bei den meisten Atto-Markierungen sind die Absorption und Fluoreszenz von Atto 647N unabhängig vom pH-Wert im Bereich von 2–11. Atto 647N wird in Form einer Mischung aus zwei Isomeren mit identischen Fluoreszenz- und Absorptionseigenschaften bereitgestellt. Atto-Markierungen weisen rigide Strukturen auf, die keine cis-trans-Isomerisation aufweisen.

Application

Phalloidin–Atto 647N wurde für die Verwendung bei der Markierung von DNA, RNA oder Proteinen konzipiert. Fluoreszente Konjugate von Phalloidin werden verwendet, um Aktinfilamente für histologische Anwendungen zu markieren. Manche strukturellen Merkmale von Phalloidin sind für die Bindung an Aktin erforderlich.
