Biochem/physiol Actions

Gemischter NMDA-Agonist/Antagonist an der Polyamin-Bindungsstelle. Es spielt eine Rolle bei der zellulären Proliferation und Differenzierung; hemmt neuronale NO-Synthase (nNOS).

Gemischter NMDA-Agonist/Antagonist an der Polyamin-Bindungsstelle. Neuroprotektive Wirkungen wurden bei hohen Konzentrationen (1 mM) beobachtet, während Neurotoxizität bei niedrigeren Konzentrationen beobachtet wird. Es verbessert die Agonist Wirksamkeit bei der Strychnin-insensitiven Glycinbindungsstelle. Es spielt eine Rolle bei der zellulären Proliferation und Differenzierung; hemmt neuronale NO-Synthase (nNOS).
