Non-selective casein kinase (CK) inhibitor. A shorter alkyl chain derivative of W-7 that inhibits casein kinase I (K_i = 80 μM), casein kinase II (K_i = 5.1 μM), myosin light chain kinase (K_i = 7.4 μM), protein kinase A (K_i = 4.3 μM), protein kinase C (K_i= 47 μM), and protein kinase G (K_i = 3.8 μM).
