Beschreibung

General description

Aflatoxine sind Pilzmetaboliten, die vor allem in Futter- und Nahrungsmitteln zu finden sind. Aflatoxin M₁ ist ein hydroxylierter Metabolit von Aflatoxin B₁. Es wird in Milch und Urin freigesetzt und in der Leber produziert, nachdem Aflatoxin B₁ aufgenommen wurde.

Application

Aflatoxin M1 ist sowohl ein hepatotoxisches als auch hepatokarzinogenes Mykotoxin, das bekanntlich bei Tieren Immunsuppression hervorruft.

Aflatoxin M1 wird als Standard zur Untersuchung der Inzidenz und des Vorhandenseins von Aflatoxin M₁ (AFM₁) in brasilianischer Milch und Säuglingsanfangsnahrung eingesetzt. Es wird auch als Standard zur Untersuchung der Inzidenz und des Vorhandenseins von Aflatoxin M1 (AFM₁) in Milchprodukten aus brasilianischer Herstellung eingesetzt.
