Application
Kreatin (Cr) und Phospho-Kreatin (PCr) sind an der schnellen ATP-Erzeugung, primär in Skelettmuskelgewebe, durch die Wirkung von Kreatinkinase(n) beteiligt. Kreatin kann als Nahrungsergänzungsmittel zur Untersuchung seines Aufnahmemechanismus und Metabolismus verwendet werden.

Kreatin ist eine stickstoffhaltige Verbindung, die als energiereicher Speicher für die schnelle Regeneration von ATP dient.
Kreatin ist eine stickstoffhaltige Verbindung, die als energiereicher Speicher für die schnelle Regeneration von ATP dient. Etwa 95 % des Kreatins befinden sich im Skelettmuskel, hauptsächlich als Phosphokreatin. Kreatin kann durch die Nahrungsaufnahme erhalten oder in einer mehrstufigen Reaktion in den Nieren und der Leber aus L-Arginin, Glycin und L-Methionin gebildet werden. Kreatin wird anschließend in das Muskelgewebe transportiert. Die Nahrungsergänzung mit Kreatin wird zur Steigerung der sportlichen Leistungsfähigkeit, primär durch die Erhöhung der Muskelmasse, eingesetzt. Kreatin wird auch als eine Behandlung für neuromuskuläre Erkrankungen geprüft, wobei es dem Nervenschutz und der Verbesserung des bioenergetischen Zustands von Zellen dienen kann.

How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature.
