General description

Questions

1–2 of 2 Questions
  1. What's the volume of the solution in each vial? What's the stability of the stock solution and after aliquoting and storing at -20ºC or -80ºC? Thank you.

    1 answer
    1. The concentration of this product may range from 0.8 – 1.2 mg/mL. This information is reported in the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis. The minimum and maximum volume of each package size it listed below:
      1 mg volume range – 0.83 mL minimum – 1.25 mL maximum
      5 mg volume range – 4,16 mL minimum – 6.25 mL maximum

This material is quite stable when stored at -20ºC . The product is assigned a retest date of every two years following the date of quality release. Stored aliquots are expected to be stable at least until the retest date published in the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis.

      Helpful?

  2. What is the isoform of the IgA? Is it only in its dimeric form or is it a mix of the monomer and the dimer?

    1 answer
    1. Human IgA exists in 2 forms. It is a monomer in the serum and a dimer in mucosal secretory tissues [secretory IgA (sIgA)]. Secretory IgA is a complex comprising two IgA monomers, a connecting J chain, and a secretory component.
