Biochem/physiol Actions

Zellpermeables Diterpenoid, das antihypertensive, positive inotrope und Adenylcyclase aktivierende Eigenschaften besitzt. Viele seiner biologischen Wirkungen beruhen auf der Aktivierung von Adenylcyclase und dem resultierenden Anstieg der intrazellulären cAMP-Konzentration. Forskolin beeinflusst Calciumkanäle und hemmt MAP-Kinase.
