US & Canada Return Policy
Authorized Returns: Seller will grant full credit for: Nonconforming Products (as defined in Section 4.1 of Seller’s Condition of Sale) not supplied in accordance with the Order Confirmation; and (ii) Products which are defective at the time of receipt by the Purchaser. All Product return requests must be made within forty-five (45) days after the delivery date. Seller must receive all authorized returns within thirty (30) days of return authorization. Seller does not credit shipping charges for returns not due to Seller’s error.
Unauthorized Returns: Purchaser will not receive credit for any Product returned without Seller’s prior written consent and Seller reserves the right to reject any return shipment of Product that has not been authorized by Seller. Unauthorized returns and returned Products that are not in conformance with this Return Policy and/or Seller's quality standards will not be credited and will be, at Seller’s sole discretion, a.) disposed of at Purchaser’s expense, b.) returned to Purchaser at Purchaser's expense, or c.) removed from Seller’s facility at Purchaser’s expense. Purchaser will be invoiced for the cost for such disposal or shipment charge and shall remain responsible for payment of such returned Products.
Products not authorized for return include but are not limited to: Products that have been provided under terms indicating that they are non-returnable; Products not in completely resalable condition (including open Products, sampled Products); Products with damaged, missing, or defaced labeling or packaging; Products in less than full-case quantities that were sold in full-case quantities; Diagnostic reagents, cultivation media, flammable material, sterile Products, or controlled Products; Hazardous, dangerous, or toxic Products with transportation limitations; Laboratory apparatus or instruments that have been used or are without the original packaging, labeling, and manuals; Refrigerated or Freezer Products, temperature-controlled Products, live specimens, or other perishables; Products which are not held in inventory by Seller (non-stocked Products) or not purchased by Purchaser from Seller; Products with an expired shelf life or an expiration date too short for resale; or Products purchased on a special-order basis (made to order Products), discontinued Products, and custom packaged or custom configured manufactured Products.
Defective, Damaged & Missing Returns: Seller reserves the right to forgo crediting Purchaser: for any Product not returned after return is authorized and requested by Seller; (ii) if, upon return due to defective material, such Product is determined by Seller not to be defective; or (iii) if the returned Product is not in saleable condition.
Restocking Fees: Authorized returns for standard Products ordered in error by Purchaser are subject to a minimum of 15% restocking charge plus any applicable charges for necessary inspection, reworking or refurbishing.
Cancellations: Purchaser may not cancel or modify an order without Seller’s prior written consent, which may be withheld for any reason or no reason at all, and any changes may be subject to price adjustment and/or cancellation fees. In the event Seller consents to the cancellation of such order, Purchaser shall reimburse Seller for all goods or services that were procured or committed by Seller for such Products, any works-in-progress for such Products, and any charges incurred by Seller for the receipt or return of goods used to build custom Product(s). Orders for Products purchased on a special-order basis, discontinued Products, custom packaged Products, and custom configured manufactured Products are not cancellable.
