General description

El módulo de pretratamiento Progard® TS2 está diseñado para pretratar el agua del grifo antes de su purificación por ósmosis inversa (RO). El agua del grifo se pretrata eliminando eficazmente contaminantes como el cloro libre, partículas grandes y coloides, compuestos orgánicos y dureza. Esto protege la membrana de RO del ensuciamiento orgánico, la oxidación del cloro y la incrustación mineral. También aumenta la vida útil del sistema de purificación de agua y optimiza su rendimiento.
Polifosfato para protección anti-incrustación. Carbón activado impregnado con plata para reducción del cloro libre y protección bacteriostática.

Application

El agua purificada producida utilizando sistemas de purificación de agua Milli-Q®, AFS®, RiOs™ y Elix® equipados con el módulo de pretratamiento Progard® TS2 se utiliza para varias aplicaciones de laboratorio.

  1. How to dispose of old Progard® TS2 Pretreatment Pack?

    1. Progard® TS2 Pretreatment Pack is not classified in Europe as a hazardous substance in regards to the substance definition in Article 3 of the Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical (REACH) and in regards to the hazardous substance and mixtures classification criteria from the Annex I of the Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 of 16 December 2008 on classification, labeling and packaging of substance and mixtures.
      Therefore, this Purification Cartridge do not require in Europe any Safety Data Sheet (SDS) to be in accordance with the Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 and the Regulation (EC) 1272/2008.

      Progard® TS2 Pretreatment Pack do not require a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) under the Occupational Health and Safety Administration Standard entitled “Hazard Communication” 29 CFR 1910.1200 for the United States of America.
      Progard® TS2 Pretreatment Pack do not meet the criteria of a W.H.M.I.S. classification of a controlled product. As a result, a W.H.M.I.S. Material Safety Data Sheet is not required in Canada for this product.

      Disposable of wastes should be in accordance with applicable regional, national, and local laws and regulations.

  2. What are the storage conditions for this product?

    1. Recommended storage conditions: temperatures from 5 to 30°C; humidity between 10 and 80%. The original sealed bag (if provided) must be kept intact before the first use to protect the purification element from foreign matter.

For high-flow systems, please keep in mind that all consumable changes must be approved by a 3-digit code that only the person in charge of the system knows.

  7. Can consumables be opened and refilled?

    1. Unfortunately, this is not possible because of safety issues and the need to guarantee the quality of consumables and their interior purification components. Our consumables are manufactured in an ISO 9001-certified facility France in agreement with high quality standards.

  8. How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

    1. The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.

    Expensive and often faulty

    This is the second time in three years (~6 packs), that the article is defect and needs to be replaced.

    Works well

    The system works well producing type three water but the Progard ts2 pack needs replacement after only four months service ( 100L produced) this seems a bit short.
