I am trying to use this an overlay medium for plaque assays- I tried dissolving in water but there are still fine particulates. How would I dissolve this or what media should I dissolve this in for complete dissolution?

The solubility is not determined for this colloidal cellulose, and there is no specific protocol for using it in plaque assays. Based on literature, this product has been used in plaque assays at a concentration of 0.6% or 1.2% in serum-free DMEM.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.
