General description

RM-RILC is a reference material (RM) designed for measurement of liquid chromatography (LC) retention indices (RIs) based on N-alkylpyridinium-3-sulfonates (NAPS).

Application

The N-alkylpyridinium-3-sulfonates (NAPS) mix has proven to be an effective tool to normalize liquid chromatography-based mycotoxin retention times across various laboratories. (M.W. Sumarah et al, Journal of Chromatography A Volume 1745, 29 March 2025, 465732)

Also it has been demonstrated, that the NAPS mix is effective in improving metabolite annotation and identification across different analytical conditions. (M. Witting et al Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, Volume 414, pages 7387–7398, (2022))
