3-缩水甘油醚氧基丙基三乙氧基硅烷(GPTES)可用作合成以下物质的试剂:         
  • 用于直接甲醇燃料电池(DMFC)的聚合物纳米复合膜。[1]       
  • 可在金属氧化物表面上自组装的叠氮基封端的聚乙二醇硅烷,以促进正交生物功能化(orthogonal biofunctionalization)。[2]      
  • 环氧官能化倍半硅氧烷纳米颗粒(SQ-NP)。[3]
  • 可作为青霉素G酰基转移酶(PGA)固定化载体的环氧官能化介孔泡沫(G-MCF)。[4]

GPTES也可用作制备防水型自清洁涂料的前体。[5]
