General description

El dimetilsulfóxido (DMSO) es un disolvente aprótico. Las moléculas terapéuticas y tóxicas que no son solubles en agua suelen ser solubles en DMSO. El nitrógeno líquido utilizado junto con un crioprotector como el DMSO es un método muy utilizado para conservar las células. El DMSO se ha utilizado para preparar disoluciones madre de varias moléculas y también se utiliza como control para dichas moléculas. Se ha utilizado en el ensayo de migración celular para disolver las células después de la migración. El DMSO probada en BPC también cumple los requisitos de las aplicaciones biotecnológicas y de ingeniería tisular.

Application

Dimethyl sulfoxide has been used as a vehicle control to culture and induce hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) activation in vivo. It has also been used to prepare a stock solution to study the cytotoxicity of ferulic acid (FA) on nucleus pulposus (NP) cells.
