Questions

1–3 of 3 Questions
  1. How to activate this powder catalyst with H2 and handle it after activation?

    1 answer
    1. This product is already reduced and stabilized, meaning that further activation with hydrogen may not be necessary. Unfortunately, no protocol for the hydrogen activation of this product is available.

      Helpful?

  2. What is the typical size of the powder particles ? Is it bigger than µm?

    1 answer
    1. In the past, the supplier has mentioned 90% of particle volume being less than 15 microns, 50% being less than 6 microns, and 10% being less than 2 microns. Most particles should fall between 2 and 15 microns. However, this value cannot be quality guaranteed as this parameter is not tested internally.

      Helpful?

  3. Is it possible to know the Si/Al ratio of such material?

    1 answer
    1. Per the manufacturer, this product has a silica and alumina content of approximately 10 wt.% each.
