General description

We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one of the four categories of Greener Alternatives. Iron powder is used as a catalyst for the reduction of nitro aromatic compounds to anilines under anaerobic conditions, delivering cost-effective synthesis routes for fine chemicals, offering a greener, potentially more sustainable option for chemical manufacturing. Application

Iron (carbonyl) powder has been used:
  • In the preparation of copper on iron (Cu/Fe) bimetallic catalytic system to synthesize β-aminoenones and 3,5-disubstituted pyrazoles.
  • As the main component of magnetorheological fluids.
  • To produce Fe-B-C composites from boron carbide using plasma sintering.
