General description

This stable-labeled internal standard is suitable for quantification of vitamin K2 (MK-4) in LC-MS/MS clinical testing applications such as assessment of vitamin K2 deficiency and research of VKD proteins. Vitamin K2 (MK-4) or menaquinone-4 is an essential cofactor for enzymes that activate blood-clotting factors as well as vitamin K-dependent (VKD) proteins involved in bone metabolism, arterial calcification, growth control, and signal transduction.
