Is Ciprofloxacin HCL available and is it USP grade?
1 answer-
Product 17850 has a molecular formula of C17H18FN3O3. The form of the chemical being searched for would have a molecular formula of C17H18FN3O3.HCL,H2O. There is Ciprofloxacin HCL.H2O but only in very small quantities as a secondary pharmaceutical standard, with the catalog number PHR1044. Regarding the question about whether the products are USP grade, the answer is no. Both products are labeled as strictly for Research Use Only and, as such, are not suitable for human use.
