General description

3-(Methylphosphinico)propionic acid is a metabolite of the pesticide, glufosinate ammonium.

Application

3-(Methylphosphinico)propionic acid may be used as reference standard in the determination of 3-(methylphosphinico)propionic acid in pesticides using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
