General description

N,N-双(2-羟乙基)-2-氨基乙磺酸,即BES,是一种两性离子缓冲液,是生物化学研究中具有重要价值的二级标准物质。BES是一种含磺酸的交联剂,可在磺化聚酰亚胺膜中诱导磺化聚酰亚胺链之间的交联。BES缓冲液的有效pH范围是6.4-7.8。它是20世纪60年代开发的“良好”缓冲液之一,可在6.15-8.35的pH范围内产生缓冲作用,广泛用于生化研究。BES缓冲液适用于需要形成磷酸钙-DNA复合物的体系(吸光度: < 在260 nm处为0.05,100 mM)。另外,BES缓冲液可用于分子生物学、生物缓冲液、分子生物学试剂和两性离子化合物的研究。

Application

另外,BES在转染研究中也有应用,包括转染试剂的制备[1]和与神经黑色素受体相关的信号传导分析[2]
在人黑素瘤细胞的结合测定期间,BES可用作改良Eagle′培养基中的结合缓冲液。[3]它可以用作生物缓冲剂来研究异金属CuII/Li 3D配位聚合物的水性介质自组装过程。[4]

  1. How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
      For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

  2. How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature.
