Questions

  1. Do you have informatoin on the molar extinction coefficient of 1,2-Di-O-lauryl-rac-glycero-3-glutaric acid 6′-methylresorufin ester? Thanks

    1 answer
    1. This product does not absorb strongly in the visible spectrum. The extinction coefficient has not been measured. Note that Resorufin sodium salt has a molar extinction coefficient of 73,000 in 0.1 M Tris-HCl buffer, pH 8.0, containing 0.1 M NaCl. This value is likely quite similar to that of the hydrolysis product of D7816, which would be 6-Methylresorufin sodium salt.
