Application
- to prepare glutamate stock solution in HEPES-buffered saline (HBS) for glutamate perfusions
- as a component in YNG (yeast nitrogen base glutamate) medium
- used to treat HT22 hippocampal cells to study its effects on cell viability and to examine the expression of molecules related to apoptotic cell death
- as a component of fresh media to culture neurons and to assess glutamate uptake
