General description

The Cell-Based ERK1/2 (activated) ELISA Sampler Kit is a very rapid, convenient and sensitive assay kit that can monitor the activation or function of important biological pathways in cells. It can be used for measuring the relative amount of ERK1/2 (pThr202 / pTyr204), JNK (pThr183 / pTyr185) and p38 MAPK (pThr180m / pTyr182) phosphorylation and screening the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators in cultured human, mouse and rat cell lines.

Immunogen

ERK1/2 (pThr202 / pTyr204), JNK (pThr183 / pTyr185), p38 MAPK (pThr180 / pTyr182) synthetic phosphopeptides

Application

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Please refer to the attached General ELISA KIT Procedure (sandwich, competitive & Indirect ELISA)

Questions

  1. What does PAN means? What is the difference between PAN and PHOSPHO? This is not described in the protocol

    1 answer
    1. An anti-pan-protein-specific antibody will recognize the specific protein regardless of phosphorylation state (or other possible post-translational modification). An anti-phospho-protein specific antibody will recognize the protein only in a phosphorylated state.
