How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. Can Product D28000, Diazald®, be used in mutagenesis studies?

Product D28000 (Diazald®) is the suggested alternative for MNNG (1-methyl-3-nitroso-1-nitroguanidine), which has been used for mutagenesis experiments. Unfortunately, Sigma-Aldrich has not tested the affect of Diazald® as a mutagenic agent. It is structurally distinct from MNNG. Products N4766 and N1517 (N-nitroso-N-methylurea), which are recommended for work in mutagenesis, might be more suitable alternatives than product D28000.

What solvents can be used to dissolve Product D28000, Diazald®?

According to the 13th edition of the chemicals encyclopedia published by the Royal Society of Chemistry, it is soluble in ether, petroleum ether, benzene, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride. It is also soluble in ethanol.
