General description

The Millicell® disposable hemocytometer is used to manually count cells. It consists of a surface-patterned two enclosed chambers with two ports for sample injection. Count cells with the in the same way as you do with the Neubauer Improved counting chamber.

The Neubauer Improved counting chamber consists of 9 large squares, each measuring 1 x 1 mm. Each square has a total volume of 0. 1 mm3. The cells are distributed over 3 x 3 large squares, each with 1 mm edge length and with a surface area of 1 mm2.

With the Millicell® disposable hemocytometer, you inject 10 µL of sample, stained or unstained, into the desired chamber.
