Can it count nuclei, specifically isolated from human aortic endothelial cells?
1 answer-
While most mammalian nuclei are around 6 micrometers (um), which is at the low end of detection, this size range can also include other cell debris that is often gated out during analysis. Additionally, since the counts are displayed as a normal distribution, the full profile may not be visible at the low end of detection. Generally, it's not recommended to use this method for small nuclei, but the Scepter may work for some cells with larger nuclei.
