Description

General description

Recombinant Interleukin‑1α from rat (IL‑1α) is expressed in Escherichia coli and supplied as a lyophilized powder. IL‑1α is a pro‑inflammatory cytokine commonly used in mammalian cell culture research to study immune‑related cellular responses in vitro.

Application

Recombinant rat IL‑1α has been used in mammalian cell culture research applications, including lymphocyte activation studies and cytokine‑mediated signaling assays in vitro.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Interleukin‑1α (IL‑1α) is an immunomodulatory cytokine that mediates activation and proliferation of immune cell populations in vitro. Recombinant rat IL‑1α has been widely studied in cell‑based models investigating cytokine‑driven immune signaling pathways.
