Biochem/physiol Actions
QPD-OTf is a cell penetrant activity-based fluorogenic substrate for kinesin-1 that apparently binds to the nucleotide-binding site which removes triflate caging causing precipitation and crystallization of fluorescent QPD along microtubule cytoskeleton marking a kinesin-1 path from Golgi apparatus toward the cell periphery. QPD-OTf is not a substrate for Eg5.
