Application

Daidzin USP reference standard, intended for use in specified quality tests and assays as specified in the USP compendia. Also, for use with USP monographs such as:
  • Astragalus Root
  • Astragalus Root Dry Extract
  • Astragalus Root Powder
  • Powdered Soy Isoflavones Extract
  • Soy Isoflavones Capsules
  • Soy Isoflavones Tablets

Biochem/physiol Actions

Daidzin was the most potent isoflavone glycoside tested in modulating differentiation of bone marrow stromal cells toward osteoblasts and away from adipocytes.
