Descrizione generale
La lampada UV per fotossidazione è una lampada sostitutiva da usare con i sistemi Milli-Q®. Grazie all′effetto fotossidante la lampada degrada la molecole organiche in specie inorganiche. La combinazione di duplici lunghezze d′onda genera radicali idrossili (OH.), una specie chiave nel processo di ossidazione. I contaminanti organici vengono ossidati ad acidi organici carichi elettricamente e CO2, che si combina con l′acqua per generare carbonato e ioni bicarbonato. Questi ioni appena formati vengono trattenuti da resine a scambio ionico miste a valle della lampada UV. Questa lampada UV per fotossidazione è indicata per i sistemi di purificazione dell′acqua Milli-Q® Advantage A10/Direct/Element/Integral/Reference.
Applicazioni
L′acqua trattata con questa lampada UV ha un basso livello di contaminanti organici ed è adatta a tutte le applicazioni sensibili a composti organici (HPLC, ecc.)

What are the storage conditions for this product?

Recommended storage conditions: temperatures from 5 to 30°C; humidity between 10 and 80%. The original sealed bag (if provided) must be kept intact before the first use to protect the purification element from foreign matter.

How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.

Can I change the UV lamp myself?

No. With the exception of our SMART system range, a field service engineer must change the UV lamp as this process can be dangerous for customers and requires special protective equipment.
