General description

ヒト総PSA（前立腺特異抗原、全部）ELISA（酵素結合免疫吸着測定法）キットは、血清、血漿、細胞培養上清、および尿中のヒト総PSAを定量的に測定するin vitro酵素結合免疫吸着測定法です。

ヒト総PSA ELISAキットは、前立腺がん患者および非がん患者の血清中のPSA（前立腺特異抗原）レベルの測定に使用されています。

Biochem/physiol Actions

前立腺特異抗原（PSA）は、前立腺組織によって特異的に産生されるアンドロゲン調節セリンプロテアーゼであり、内腔に分泌されます。精液中のPSAは、精液凝固に存在するセメノゲリンを切断します。前立腺がん（PCa）患者の血清では総PSAレベルが上昇します。PSAはPCaの潜在的なバイオマーカーとして機能します。α1-抗キモトリプシン（α1-ACT）、α2-マクログロブリン（α2-M）、その他の急性期たんぱく質といった血清プロテアーゼ阻害剤は、循環PSAと不可逆的な複合体を形成してPSAのたんぱく質分解活性を妨げます。
