General description

AmberChrom™ 50WX4 hydrogen form is a nonmacroporous gelform bead resin. AmberChrom™ 50WX4 hydrogen form is a useful column packing material, used in anion exchange chromatography.

Application

AmberChrom™ WX4 hydrogen form was used to investigate the effect of particle size on drug loading and release profiles. AmberChrom™ 50WX4 hydrogen form when treated in boiling water converted D,L-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate diethyl acetal (barium salt) to free aldehyde D,L-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate.
Strongly acidic cation exchange resin that meets requirements of FDA Food Additive Regulation 21 CFR 173.25

Other Notes

This strongly acidic cation exchange resin has not been specially processed nor cleaned. We suggest that it be subjected to a suitable preliminary elution and wash.

Legal Information

Amberchrom is a trademark of DuPont de Nemours, Inc.
