Es kann außerdem als Reaktant zur Synthese von Folgendem eingesetzt werden:
- 1,2-Azidoalkohole und 1,2-Azidoamine mittels Cer(III)-Chlorid-unterstützter Ringöffnung von Epoxiden und Aziridinen durch Natriumazid.[1]
- Cyanhaltige Indoline durch oxidative Arylalkylierung von Olefinen in Gegenwart eines Palladiumkatalysators.[2]
Es kann außerdem als Reaktant zur Synthese von Folgendem eingesetzt werden:
- Bis(diphenylphosphino)-acetonitril durch Umsetzung mit n-Butyllithium und anschließend mit Chlordiphenylphosphin.[3]
- β-Acetamidoketone mittels Kupplungsreaktion mit Ketonen oder Ketonestern und Aldehyden in Gegenwart von Cobalt(II)-Chlorid.[4]
General description
Acetonitril, ein aliphatisches Nitril, wird häufig als organisches Lösungsmittel und Zwischenprodukt in der organischen Synthese verwendet.[5] Es ist gegenüber UV/VIS-Licht transparent, wodurch es in hohem Grad in spektrophotometrischen und fluorometrischen Verfahren anwendbar ist. MeCN wird als Komponente der mobilen Phase in vielen chromatografischen Verfahren eingesetzt, da es eine geringe Viskosität und hohe Elutionsfestigkeit aufweist und außerdem in Wasser mischbar ist. Es spielt auch eine wichtige Rolle als Extraktionsmedium bei Flüssig-Flüssig-Extraktionen, Festphasen-Extraktionen oder Mikroextraktionen.[6]

I'm using anhydrous acetonitrile that was opened in 2017. microbubbles frequently occur in the internal tubing(Cellenone machine) . Could this be related to storing it for a long period?

How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. Hey, my name is Mohammad. We tried to develop sensor ro detect heavy metals. And I fond some peaks in the solution when I added acn 99.8% and I want to know if there is heavy metals and which metals?
