Anwendung
Carbonylcyanid-3-chlorphenylhydrazon (CCCP) hat folgende Anwendungen:
- Hemmung der Effluxpumpe bei klinischer Pseudomonas aeruginosa[1]
- Hemmung der oxidativen Phosphorylierung der Mitochondrien in menschlichen Beas-2B-Epithelzellen der Bronchien[2]
- Herstellung einer Carbonylcyanid-m-chlorphenylhydrazon-Lösung für oxidative und mitochondriale Stresstests und eine Induktion der Mitophagie bei Caenorhabditis elegans[3]
Biochem./physiol. Wirkung
Carbonylcyanid-3-chlorphenylhydrazon (CCCP) induziert die Mitophagie in Säugetierzellen.[3] CCCP unterdrückt die Expression nur weniger Proteine der Elektronentransportkette (ETC-Proteine).[2] Protonophor (H+ Ionophor) und Entkoppler der oxidativen Phosphorylierung in Mitochondrien. Eine Reihe von Auswirkungen auf zelluläres Calcium wurde nachgewiesen. Hemmt die Sekretion von hepatischer Lipase und teilweise die pH-Gradienten-aktivierte Cl- Aufnahme sowie Cl-/Cl- Austauschaktivitäten in Bürstensaum-Membranvesikeln.
